Man, I feel so boring lately. I really don't have anything of substance to post, so I might have to bring you into the boredom and tell you that everything around here is pretty even keel. Not that I'm complaining, it's just not like we're jetsetting across the country or teaching Kourtney Kardashian how to change a diaper or anything. Changing diapers is just as interesting around these parts, though, I'm sure.
So, we're almost a month into school. And I'm adjusting to the fact that these little darlings are pretty much fresh out of the womb, apron strings still attached. It's hard to regress from almost-first-graders to basically-preschoolers. Then there's the attachment that I have to my very first class whom I heart, heart, hearted. It's really hard to quit saying but my class last year this... and but my class last year that... I just need to move on, ya know? I am. Slowly. I still find it endearing when my now-first-graders stop by my room and profess how boring first grade is ;) It makes me love them even a little more...even though I know how much they adore having recess and staying for lunch this year.
And, before I forget, I've decided we need to form a club. A club that will formally meet on September 30th after I've been given the chance to watch the first episode of The Hills & The City online. We can all discuss what drama K-Cav is stirring up, how much we miss LC, and that, no matter what, Spencer Pratt will always be _________ (fill in the blank). I can think of many things to fill that blank in with, none of which would be appropriate to blog about. Then, we can further discuss that Whitney Port is amazing and Olivia is a touch spoiled and snotty (but only a touch). If you haven't watched the trailer, go see it here. Drama! Actually, I might just truck it over to someone's house who actually has cable so that I can watch it that night. I'm not going to lie, I can't wait (!!!).
Also, for a random thought of the night, I hate the football term pump fake. There is something about those words that is the equivalent of running fingernails down a chalkboard. I also file the word pimple into this category. Eeeeeeh. (This thought is not entirely random since husband is watching football on our cableless TV.)
Tomorrow is Friday. Yay!
