Read with caution. This blog might be contagious.

I was really going to try to NOT post about illness, since every post I've written for the past week has pertained to germ bugs, but I don't think I can avoid it.  Mainly because I bought one of these little friends tonight...

My review: meh.  Personally, I can do with or without draining snot via a teapot.

And, if you're looking for a way to get a really worried look from your 2-year-old, totally pour water out your nose right in front of him.  He kept rubbing the hand I was bracing on the sink saying, It's okay, mommy.  You're okay.  I kept having to explain that, though gross and disgusting, it did not hurt.

Besides providing me with an awkward mental image that will continue to humble me for years to come (because can you really can't be vain while looking in a mirror at yourself while water pours out a nostril), it provided only temporary relief and a salty after taste.  I couldn't avoid swallowing a little bit while I was laughing at the whole situation.

Also, I felt a bit like a magician.  Watch me as I magically pour water out my nose.  Oooh!  Ahhhh!

I imagine that if my sisters had been present, I would have not been able to accomplish the Neti Pot because I would either drown myself or laugh until I peed my pants.  {Note to Chels and Aubs: Let's have a Neti Pot pouring party next time we're all in town together.  It might be as fun as watching me try out the Medela breast pump for the first time.  Except less awkward.}

Happy Monday, friends!

Another one bites the dust.

Well, it just wouldn't be a complete weekend unless someone else came down with the flu bug.

ME.

Uuuuuuuuggggggggh.

And it is twelve kinds of no fun

But, on the upside, Becks is feeling better.  And him and B are going to the grocery store for me.  Which should be really interesting.  As long as B comes home with a decongestant for me, I don't really care if he grabs milk, bread, or anything else for that matter.  Well, I guess do.  Since there is nothing to eat here for the boys.

Also, I cannot taste anything.  Besides the faintest taste of Diet Coke.  At least I have that little bit of happy.  Because my head basically feels bloated.  More specifically my face. It's like someone blew up a balloon inside my nose.  Is that gross?  Sorry.  But it's bad.

And, for the record, this is our second straight weekend spent pent up in the house nursing each other back to health.  So. Over. It.  If I have to lay on this couch watching one more Jersey Shore rerun I'm going to die.  I can only take so much Jersey slang.  I'm going to start referring to everyone as little meatballs here soon.  Anyway...

Hope y'all are well!

As if the flu wasn't fun enough.

This morning, on Day 8 of a fever, we called the doctor and they told us to come in again.

As always, I expected to hear He's doing fine.  Just let it run its course and keep pumpin' him full of motrin and tylenol!  Then, as always they'd send us on our way.

But, no.  My sweet precious has pneumonia :(

His little lungs are a little rumbly.  Boo.

Don't be alarmed.  His spirits are good, and he's walking around right now with a plastic hanger wedged around his waist somehow.  His "basketball uniform," he explained.

The doctor said to bring him back on Monday if he still has a fever.  And that scares me.  So, let's all pray that Zithromax zaps the bugs for good.

Happy Satruday!

Boo on the flu.

Becks is still one sick puppy.

But, thankfully, for the hour or so that his meds perk him up, he's a very pleasant - albeit pitiful - nasally little pumpkin.

He looked at me as we were watching American Idol together a little bit ago (he loves it just as much as I) and said, lovingly, Mommy, you're pretty

And I just about melted into a big ol' pile of sappity sapparoo.  Then, he went on to comment that one of the contestants had fancy hair, and I debated his sense of style, but decided that his previous compliment still stood.

For some reason, this pic helps me envision what he's going to look like in about 15 years.  Stay away, ladies!

So, when he's not cuddling or coughing, he's still amusing me with his pumpkinish presence.  And, eating green popsicles, of course.  The dinner choice of all those battling flu bugs.

And now y'all understand the green mouth in the previous pics ;)

Why I {Heart} My Husband Reason #689

First of all, let's talk about how awesome it is that it's already Tuesday.  All day long, I kept thinking it was Monday, and then I'd get a little kick in my step when I'd realize we were 3/4 of the way through Tuesday.  Wahoo!  I vote that Monday becomes part of the weekend.  All in favor?

However, my little pumpkin is still sicky sick :(  The Tylenol-Motrin rotation is really becoming quite bothersome, and we're having to come up with the strangest bribes to get him to take his medicine.  Do you want a frozen pancake? Only if you take your medicine!  The good news?  He agreed!

He passed out on the couch today - this never happens!

Anyway, on to Reason #689 as to why I love my husband...

I should have bragged on him awhile ago when I mentioned that my Valentine gift was a little somethin' somethin' from Lisa Leonard Designs.  Then, a few of you asked about it when you saw it pictured in the post below.  So, here's the upclose pics...

Side #1

Side #2

And, here's the backstory...

B and I are big Dave Matthews Band fans.  Several of Dave's songs are "our" songs, most noteably Crash and 41.  We sing both to Becks before bed every night.  {Note: Not in a duet. That would be weird. We take turns putting him to bed each night.  I digress...}

So, when you read each part of the necklace together, it says You and me together we can do anything.  Which are the lyrics to You and Me from his latest album.

When I wear the necklace, the umbrella and sunshine show (thus hiding the "you and me" and "together"), along with "we can do anything."  When B gave me the necklace he explained that the umbrella and sunshine mean "in rain or shine."

Isn't that the cutest?!  Love you, B!!!

{B designed this necklace by selecting the pieces and phrasing.  You can do the same at Lisa Leonard Designs.  This is my 2nd necklace from her and I looooove both of them.  They're my go-to necklaces and they match everyting.  Check her out!!!}

It's Monday. And it's random.

1.  It has to be random tonight because I still have lesson plans to write for tomorrow.  Becks has had a "flu-like virus" {as his doctor puts it} all weekend long.  Poor baby :(

2.  I can't even describe to you my addiction to Nutella.  So totally yum.

3.  The kitchen is delayed.  Again.  Because now we're going to continue the hardwood into the kitchen.  The initial plan was tile, but once we realized how open the kitchen was going to feel with the widened doorway, we decided it would flow better to go with hardwood.  The March 1st deadline is only happening if Ty and co. show up at my house for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.  Like by tomorrow.  B is pulling up the old, heinous linoleum and the pre-sub floor now.  I'm too skeptical to set a time limit for the installation of the hardwood.  Will post pics soon.

4.  I have moved on from Walmart ribbed tanktops to the extra long tanks you can buy at NY&Co. and Target.  I'm sure that I will eventually own every color.  {Sidenote: Why aren't all tanks made extra long?  Or maybe that's only a blessing for tall people?  Hmm.}

5.  I never realized how much I missed being blonde.

6.  Every week I think I'm going to start running again.  And then I don't.  And now it's dropping below freezing again and going to rain like every day this week.  Putting "work out" at the waaaaay bottom of my to-do list.

7.  I think I need to be super cute in some Old Navy skinny jeans {have you seen the commercial?}, especially since I haven't replaced my fav pair that I ripped right down the heiny on my birthday over 2 months ago.

8.  Brad the Bachelor just said oh my word.  I think he and I could carry on a conversation.

9.  Whenever Becks gets excited about something - anything - he'll exclain This is the greatest party EVER!  I have no idea why he says it, but it is so *dang* cute!

10.  I'm doing a Wizard of Oz unit at school this week and am super exited about it!!!  I've posted the whole unit at Teacher's Pay Teachers HERE if you want to check it out :)

Have a great week, friends!

Back to Blonde

I know it's only hair.  But, darnit, I just love mine so much better when it's blonde.  I did the dark(er) thing.  And I liked it okay.  My love for it, however, faded fast, taking with it the lowlites (which, if you weren't aware, fade really quick) and my self-esteem.

So, while I'm getting ready in the morning for school, already lamenting over the fact how I have nothing to wear, the morning is further complicated by the fact that I spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to convince myself that I'm better off brunette-ish.

Maybe if I wear it this way, it will look better...

Maybe if I just trimmed my bangs, it will look better...

Maybe if I lose 5 lbs, it will look better...

And then, this morning, in a weak moment I called, booked the appointment with Savannah, and told them to pencil me in for a blonde highlight. Eight hours later, I'm taking awkward self-photos to prove that blonde is oh so much better. At least on me :)

{TGIalmostF!  And a pay day!  Wahoo!}

And it's not even Christmas!

So, I have mentioned before that I have an obsession with a store called Christmas Tree Shops.  But, don't let that name fool you.  Unless it's Christmastime, this store has nothing to do with Christmas.  It houses tons of stuff on the cheap.  If there is one in your area, go there.  You will thank me.

If you need more convincing, let me just show you some of the fun things you can find there.

{Btw, this photo shoot comes to you courtesy of me not wanting to be in my house on Saturday night.  One word: dust.}

This is a whole wall of pastel dishware.  For under 5 bucks.  Even those precious cake stands on the bottom.

I love this egg crate.  For $1.69.  I bought this one to put my earring in.  Loves.

I'm pretty sure I this picture because I was hungry.  Though the sugar-free variety does not really appeal to me.

Oh my.  A whole wall of white dishes.  Even better than pastels.

I love "o" wine glasses.  I should add this to my "teacher's must-haves" because we all need the occasional glass of pinot after a rough day in the classroom.

And this glass pitcher (I'm sure there is a prettier name.  Help me out Dr. B!) is totally asking me to buy her and fill her full of fruity red sangria in a few short months.  Maybe when I have a let's-christen-the-new-kitchen party, I will invite y'all over for a glass or two.

And coffee.  Served in this monogrammed mug.  Straight from the cabinets of my new kitchen.

Okay, for reasons unbeknownst to me, they sell a lot of foreign foods.  Like Boland's Digestive Biscuits.  Which I have no intention of buying, but sound like they might be helpful in the event of, um, digestive issues?  For $1.99, they might be an interesting alternative to Tums.

Also, there's the Pump2Fit.  Also known as the generic version of the Shake Weight.  If you have never seen Ellen advertise this hilarious product, please go YouTube it.  You will thank me.  And, if you're interested, I can pick you up this knock-off for $4.49.  Must be a big seller.

Of course, I can't escape without a few teacher buys.  Like egg cartons for $3.99.  That I had to jump really high to get.  See the empty space on the 4th shelf.  I totally jumped high enough to knock it off.  Twice.

Here's an insta-center...

 Math tools...

And art supplies...

Have you been to Christmas Tree Shops before?  Do you love it?!

Would you like dust with that?

Omiword, y'all.  I am living the Dust Bowl here in Casa Babbling.  It's reached the point of unbearable.  As in, I would rather be at school than at home.  At least it's organized there - a place for everything, and everything in it's place.  For the most part.  As I said, there's still the occasional plastic jack-o-lantern-in-the-filing-cabinet issue.  It's not dusty there either.

Becks and I have escaped to my classroom for the past two days since there's been a lot of kitchen remodeling going on.  This morning, I ate breakfast there - 2 chocolate turtles and a Dixie cup of cheddar popcorn.  Both remnants of our Valentine party on Friday.  Also, super healthy.  Becks had his fill, too.

And, though I can be somewhat productive when Becks is with me, I use that term loosely since I spend a lot of time trying to figure out either how to keep him occupied or picking up after him.  If he wasn't scribbling on my white board, then he was getting drinks from the water fountain right outside my door or dumping the entire bowl of bingo chips on the floor.  And when I got the brilliant idea to let him play in shaving cream on top of a desk, he was literally occupied for under three minutes.  Fail.

But, he was good company.  Good, cute company.  And it beats trying to contain him in the very small, livable space in our house.

Okay.  So.  Kitchen updates.

Well, I decided I hated the paint color.  The one I showed you earlier this week.  It was too green for me.  So we can't cross that off the list just yet.  Back to a blue-gray color that was initially the color in my heart.  Always go with your heart.

But we can cross off widen doorway.  Which was on the list.  But way at the bottom.  Erased.  Because it seemed like a lot of work, as it is a load-bearing wall and all.   And maybe something we'd do post remodel, in a few years.  But my father-in-law {who is a real-life Handy Manny} convinced us it was wise to widen it way before we did anything else.  Because it was going to be dusty and a lot easier before the floor and everything else was added and fixed in place.  Turns out he was right.  And he met my This better be done before the weekend is over! deadline.  I'm a very harsh Project Manager/Remodeling Paparazzi.

Before...

During...

After...
Looking from the dining room into the kitchen.
Looking from the far wall in the kitchen into the dining room.

Obviously, there is still work to be done.  But our house isn't going to cave in, so that's good.  It involved metal pipe supports and reciprocating saws and dust.  Lots and lots of dust.  Did I mention the dust?

I hope your weekend was spectacular, and maybe involved fried ice cream at your favorite Mexican restaurant.

And, more importantly, was dust free :)

It's Thursday. And it's random.

1.  Kroger has the most amazing new ice cream called Maine Blueberry Pie.  I am obsessed

2.  Also, why do I want to drink a big glass of water after I eat a bowl of ice cream?

3.  Someday, I'd like to have a conversation with Dwight Schrute from The Office.  Also, Snooki.

4.  Speaking of Snooki, who's {fist} pumped for Jersey Shore tonight?!  I'm beatin' the beat right now.

5.  I almost bought 1080 neon colored Post-Its from Target tonight because they were on sale for 50% off.  Then, I put them back after remembering I'm a school teacher and that the supply closet at school stocks perfectly boring yellow ones for free.

6.  I did buy a new comforter set.  Also on sale for a drastic $27, marked down from over $100.  Becks colored with Sharpie on our current Ikea duvet.  Maybe I'll show it to you when I have my life put back together.  {Just told B to check it out - he just got home from class - and it took him well over a minute to respond to it.  I'm going to take that he doesn't like it.  Men. }

7.  Because I have very little control over the tidiness of my home right now, I have become crazy obsessed with the orderliness of my classroom.  My type-A personality needed an outlet, and my filing cabinets are looking much more filing-ish these days as a result.  As opposed to overloaded with random papers and crammed with non-filing related items.  Such as plastic jack-o-lanterns.

8.  I got an early Valentine today.  It's from Lisa Leonard Designs and I love, love, love it  <3

9.  Do you drive a Honda Accord or Civic?  What are your thoughts?

10.  Beckham has been wearing "big boy" undies over his diaper for the past week.  I love that kid.

Le sigh.

Do you Pink Lou Lou?  If you don't, you must.  Because she is one of my favorite blogging buddies.  And she's an IRL friend, too.  We're sorority sisses and former housemates at the Pi compound on Rose Street.  She can poof with the best of 'em, is completely gorgeous, writes about the funny, heartbreaking, and sweet, and she's met Carrie.  As in Underwood.  Anyway, she makes everything sound so much more fun, so much more French, so much more girlie and wonderful by adding le before everything.  And I le lurve her for it ;)

Really, the only point of that opening paragraph was to justify the title of this post and direct you to her blog because you will love it.  {My mom even said to me the other day - Who is Pink Lou Lou?  She is hilarious!}

I, on the other hand, am just letting out a big old huffy sigh today because I've just really been in a big huffy mood.  I was a little hard on my kiddos today...a little testy with my husband....a little short with Becks.  You know, one of those kind of days.

The kind of day that is only made worse by the fact that your fat pants are really living up to their name and making you feel all the fatter.  And, what is worse, is that I really didn't consider them fat pants until I was slumped down in my desk chair at school, poppin' waffles pretzels and swiggin' my third Diet Coke when I realized the top button was unbuttoned.  Le blah.

But, there are a few happies for today.  Like the fact that we purchased our tile flooring last night {le yay!}.  Or that B and his dad are widening the doorway between the kitchen and dining room on Saturday {le dust!}.  Or that sweet Gladys at Teaching in High Heels wrote such kind words about me {merci beaucoup!}.  See?  Lots of good things on an otherwise blah-y kind of day.

And, one other good thing: yesterday was the 100th Day of School { le summer!}.  Only 75 more to go! Eeeeeh!

And, thanks, Pink Lou Lou for letting me borrow your le for the night.  It actually does make things sound a lot more fun :)

Do you Peep?

After a crazy-busy weekend, tonight is all about me, a half-pint of Haagen-Dazs Mango Sorbet, ABC television, and blogstalking.  Because there is something relaxing about consuming a half-day's worth of calories while you read about the lives of your favorite webby friends and listen half-heartedly to the nonsense that is The Bachelor.  However, the banter is not near as entertaining as their awkward kissing scenes.  Bleck!

Anyway, I have to say that I've given up on the meteorologists in favor of a more reliable source: the groundhog.  He's been a heckuva lot better at predicting the complete lack of accumulating snow while the local stations pour on and on about the "three snow makers" which have amounted to little more than me waking up in the morning only to peer out the blinds to a big ol' whopping nothing.  I'm crestfallen every single morning at 5:30am.  I mean, really.  Three?!  How can you possibly misdiagnose three snow storms?!  They were totally there in the five-day forecast and now? Nada.  Grrrr.

Also, what are your thoughts on Valentine's Day Peeps?  Personally, I'm a big Peep fan - traditional, heart-shaped, bunny-shaped - I don't discriminate.  As long as they're stale, of course.  Also a fan of Peeps?  My too-stinkin'-cute kiddo.

I hope y'all are enjoying the month of love, friends!  I'm off to catch up on all your lives ;)  Happy Monday!

{PS.  I've uploaded a new Valentine's Day Mini-Unit to TpT!  Click HERE!}

Another Saturday night...

...and I ain't got nobody!

Couldn't help myself.  Had to finish the song :)

Today, I expected to wake up to 3 inches of snow.  Not so much.  But I was thankful.  Because our pantry needed stocking, less we all shovel spoonfuls of VegAll straight from the can into our hungry little mouths.  I'd probably be the only one shoveling, since I highly doubt my boys would subject themselves to such torture.  I, on the other hand, don't so much mind an occasional corn, potato, carrot, pea combo.

Anyway,  I finally made it to the grocery and dinner tonight was a little more than canned vegetables.  Instead it was an avocado and some organic burrito that was a buy one, get one kinda deal.  In my normal state of shopping, I'd never buy a pre-packaged burrito.  Well, maybe.  But not often.  However, in my we- have-no-kitchen state of shopping, prepackaged burritos were starting to sound a lot better than another bowl of cereal.  Or another Michelina's meal.  Or another turkey sandwich.

But we are making progress.  I feel bad even saying "we." B is all over this kitchen thing, between being a stay-at-home dad by day and student by night.  I saunter into the kitchen as the Project Manager every now and then, and call out a Good job, honey!  or Wow!  Look at you screw in those outlet covers!  but I'm little more than the sideline cheerleader.  He's totally deserving of all the back-patting.

B spent part of the week painting the ceiling {who knew that ceiling paint turns from pink to white?!  I didn't!  I thought it was the coolest thing!}, and today he painted the walls.  Despite the fact that I dreamt the other night that I hated the paint color we picked out {it ended up being a disgusting hunter green in my dream}, I'm absolutely smitten with Metro Mist and its cool, soothing tones.  Due to night lighting, I couldn't snap a good shot, but the contrast between the white door frame and the wall helps a bit.

I'm still shooting for our March 1st deadline, and {hopefully} and impending overnight snow storm on Sunday will produce a snow day and allow me help B install the floor.  {This going to school for 2 weeks straight with not one measly little snow day is for the birds!  Come on, Mother Nature, it's winter!}

Since our house is 12 kinds of chaotic right now, much of our life is crammed into our living room.  I spent all of naptime there today, hunched over the kitchen table, which is home to, well, everything right now.  It's collecting everything from tax documents (sending them off on Monday!  woo!), coupon clippings, Becks' Valentines, and week old newspapers are hiding beneath.  We do anything but actually eat there.  It's all part of the process, right?

Welp, I'm off to lesson plan for the coming week - 100 Days, Valentines, and President's.  Cah-razy.  Dear God, please let it snow.  Several inches feet...

Happy Saturday!!!

New TpT Activity!

Okay, so I know I said I wouldn't be doing teacher stuff here anymore, but I might still advertise for my TpT site here :)

I  just uploaded a Mystery Box Activity to Teachers Pay Teachers.  Check it out!

I Luv Chocolate Cake :)

So pumped for the weekend.  Almost as pumped as I am about this deliciousness that my sweet husband brought me home tonight.

 I mean, I thought it was enough to bring me 2 12-packs of Diet Coke home without being asked.  And now this?  I love that man.

It really not all that fun to be oven-less.  I have been talking about chocolate cake for 2 weeks now, so a warm chocolate fudge cake from Frisch's is pretty much heaven tonight.

In other news, Becks and I went to Target last night. {Who? Me?  Go to Target?  Stop the world.}

There was an unannounced snowstorm and we had to brave the blizzard to get to the car.  You would think someone who watches the weather like I watch the latest Jersey Shore episode would be aware of an impending snow storm, but I did not.  So, I was super surprised {and grateful} for an hour delay this morning.  Naturally, they called to inform me about 3 minutes into my shower.  Figures.

My weekend is yet to be determined.  I like it like that.  Happy Thursday, y'all.  I'm off to watch the latest drama at the shores.  It's tee shirt tiiiiiiiiime!!!!!

And don't forget to check out my new teacher blog at The Inspired Apple!

The Inspired Apple

Hi! Hi!  I am so excited to announce the launch of my teaching blog, The Inspired Apple.  I hope you'll check it out :)

Meet the Teacher!

My bloggy BFF is doing a fun Teacher linky!!!  And I'm playing along, too :)

If you want to link up, check out sweet Cara at The First Grade Parade.

This is me.  Babbling Abby.  Or just Abby.  Abs if we're thisclose. I love my family, God, teaching, Diet Coke, and finding your old pair of designer jeans at Goodwill.  I long for dinner and drinks with my girls, springtime when local neighborhoods open up their yards and garages to sell me their cast-offs, and for summer nights up north in Michigan.

B and I have been married for almost five years and have one little pumpkin named Beckham.  We're amidst a kitchen remodel and always DIY.  I want to have another baby soon-ish.

I graduated from the University of Kentucky (C-A-T-S!) with a bachelor's in psychology, and then went back to school for a second bachelor's in elementary education.  I'm currently pursuing a master's in education with a concentration on administration.  I graduate in December (PTL!).

This is my 3rd year teaching - I taught half-day kindergarten for two years and looped this year to be a first grade teacher.  I {heart} first grade.  It's my fav and I hope I stay there for awhile.

{...Q & A...}

Q: What would you be doing if you weren't teaching?
A: A stay-at-home mommy, no question.

Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Teaching, writing, blogging, thrifting.

Q: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: A teacher!  Seriously, I called it in first grade.

Q: What are your guilty pleasures?
A:  Diet Coke, Teen Mom 1 & 2, Jersey Shore, blogstalking.

Q: What is your biggest fears?
A: Leaving my boys behind if anything every happened to me.  And, I'm terrified of being in a car accident.

Q: When you're on vacation, where do you like to go?
A: Glen, Arbor Michigan at the Homestead Resort.  Love. It.  OR at my parent's Lakehouse :)

Q: What's the best adviced you ever received?
A: Be confident. Trust in who you are.  Rise above those who try to bring you down.  Turn the other cheek.  Let go and let God.

Q: What do you value most in others?
A: Sincerity and realness.  Being genuine is key to me.

Q: If you could choose one of your personality traits to pass on to your children, what would it be?
A: My enthusiasm :)  I get excited about everything!

Q: If you could have lunch with anyone - living or dead - who would it be?
A:  All of my college girlfriends - preferably at K-Lair ;)  {And I'm totally coming to the lunch that Cara's setting up with Deanna, too!!!!  Just tell me where and when ladies and I'll hop on a plane!  Not kidding!}

Q: Now, tell us one thing about yourself:
A: Abby isn't my real name.  It's a nickname for Abigail, which is my middle name.  I kept all of my names when I got married inluding my 2 first last names (long story!), so my legal name is W_______ Abigail S________ K________  M___________.  Ridiculous, no?!

It's Tuesday. And it's random.

1.  I woke up to a sheet of ice blanketing my car this morning.  I was for sure there was going to be a delay.  I stalked the internet for updates to closings/delays, watched the scrolling bar at the bottom of my TV screen for my county, and continuously checked my phone to make sure I didn't miss the call.  Nope.  Nada.  Nothing.  We had school all day today and my kids were cah-razy.

2.  On that note, I really need Punxsutawney Phil to not see his shadow tomorrow.  I know about 24 firsties in desperate need of the warm weather to return so we can have outdoor recess again.  Better yet, I know countless teachers who could use it more.

3.  Becks is such a cutie.  I know he's mine and I'm completely biased, but this smile just melts my hearts like a s'more.  He's just as sweet, too :)

4.  My 10-year highschool reunion is this summer, so I'm totally okay to not focus on baby number two until after, say, August.  That will also get me through one more bathing suit season...

5.  The sweetest thing my husband did this week?  Picked up two 12-packs of Diet Coke.  Without being asked.

6.  The kitchen remodel is...ridiculously...s-l-o-w.  {Note to my husband: I am not complaining.  Just acknowledging that DIY isn't a fast process.  And, I love you ;) }  On the upside, we've had outlets moved and added, and B is painting the ceiling.  On the downside, everything in the house is covered in a fine layer of drywall dust.  Achoo!

7.  So pumped for Teen Mom 2 tonight.  I'll just go ahead and say that Leah and Corey are by far my fav couple.  I'm really rooting for them.  And their twins are precious.

8.  Is there anyone else who is floored that January is over?  I mean, really, 31 days of 2011 are gone.  Just like that!

9.  I'm pretty sure there are days at a time where all I drink is Diet Coke and/or coffee.  So. Not. Healthy.  It doesn't help that any water I want to drink at home right now has to come from the bathroom faucet which is barely big enough to fit a Dixie cup under.  Just making excuses...

10.  I just want to say a big old THANK YOU to those of you who have purchased something from me from my TpT store.  I am truly, truly, truly grateful.  In a gobzillion ways.

The work week will be half-way over by tomorrow!  Wahoo!
