Becks loves to water. To help us give the front yard a good soak...and himself. For good measure, you know.
I should really just bring out some soap and suds him up right then and there. My bathroom floors would stay a lot drier if I opted for outdoor summer showers. {He thinks of the bathtub more as a waterpark these days...}
I wonder how long these piggies will remain delicious? Edible almost. Kissable, definitely.
But it's the coming inside part that really turns the waterworks on. And not from the hose. When you're two, every change in your plan is a big deal. A really big deal. Especially when your two-year-old body wants to do something different than your mommy wants. Like pee on the floor. Or hit the living room walls with a plastic shovel. Or keep watering the flowers even when it's bedtime. Things can get rough.
But we'll manage. Because, despite his terrible two-nishness, he still gives the biggest hugs, laughs the giggliest giggles, dances the silliest dances, and says the darndest things (i.e. Beckham have nipples?). Sigh. I love this kid. Waterworks and all.

I LOVE that picture of you two at the end. L is 3 and 1/2 and he still loves water like Becks!
You are so good with him- I hope when I'm a parent I have half the patience you do and always look at the positive! You're such a good mama!
