Do you Peep?

After a crazy-busy weekend, tonight is all about me, a half-pint of Haagen-Dazs Mango Sorbet, ABC television, and blogstalking.  Because there is something relaxing about consuming a half-day's worth of calories while you read about the lives of your favorite webby friends and listen half-heartedly to the nonsense that is The Bachelor.  However, the banter is not near as entertaining as their awkward kissing scenes.  Bleck!

Anyway, I have to say that I've given up on the meteorologists in favor of a more reliable source: the groundhog.  He's been a heckuva lot better at predicting the complete lack of accumulating snow while the local stations pour on and on about the "three snow makers" which have amounted to little more than me waking up in the morning only to peer out the blinds to a big ol' whopping nothing.  I'm crestfallen every single morning at 5:30am.  I mean, really.  Three?!  How can you possibly misdiagnose three snow storms?!  They were totally there in the five-day forecast and now? Nada.  Grrrr.

Also, what are your thoughts on Valentine's Day Peeps?  Personally, I'm a big Peep fan - traditional, heart-shaped, bunny-shaped - I don't discriminate.  As long as they're stale, of course.  Also a fan of Peeps?  My too-stinkin'-cute kiddo.

I hope y'all are enjoying the month of love, friends!  I'm off to catch up on all your lives ;)  Happy Monday!

{PS.  I've uploaded a new Valentine's Day Mini-Unit to TpT!  Click HERE!}

I love Peeps. I love to leave them open a few days until they are stale. Is that gross?!? It is snowing here and I might just put my jammies on inside out in hopes of a day off. How trerrible. We are going to be in school until July and I am hoping for another day.

I love me some peeps too! They are awesome if you nuke them in the microwave. They swell up real big and carmelize. YUM-O!!

Hi! I'm a new reader. I found your blog while searching for teaching blogs (I find the cutest ideas from the best teachers!) I read one of your teaching posts, but am in love with your cute writing style! I have been devouring your awesome blog ever since. I'm excited for your new blog, the Inspired Apple, and may even start a blog of my own! I'm new to the whole blogging community, but I'm thrilled to-hopefully-be a part of it too!

We had an early dismissal today because of a crazy instant snow storm... Not a good thing- just crazy chaos! Today was also 100th day for us. Thankfully I got everything worked in!

Now I'm crossing my fingers for tomorrow- A nice, full, happy snow day would be great! No call yet... sigh!

Sounds like a great evening. I too am a Peep lover. I secretly have my fingers crossed for a delay, now of course a cancellation would be icing on the cake, but I don't want to be too greedy...I hope my phone rings before shower time in the AM. Your little guy is so peepin cute!

Girl, DON'T watch the weather anymore, those guys (and gals) are almost always wrong. I used to listen to the hullabaloo the night before and then I'd have the worst sleep EVER....b/c secretly we're hopin' for a cancellation and it doesn't come...so now instead of watching the weather, I blog, inspiration vs exasperation much better!! :)
